Purchase Order

  1. a) Right to Reject an Order

The Seller reserve the right not to accept any order request if:

- Insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered.

- We do not deliver to your area.

- Data entry error, goods ordered was incorrectly described or priced on the website.

- The payment transaction is not authorized

The Company will notify and refund the Buyer for whatever has been paid for all such cases.  We apologise for any inconvenience caused but will not be obliged to offer any compensation to the customer.

  1. b)  Modifications to the Service and Prices

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

  1. c)  Title of Goods 

Sheldon Systems Pte Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) shall retain the title to and possession of the items listed in the invoice (the “Good(s)”), until 100% payment for the purchased Good(s), including service charges, is received.


The customer is advised to inspect the goods upon delivery.  No claims for shortage or damage goods will be considered unless written notice is given to Sheldon Systems Pte Ltd within three (3) days of the customer’s receipt of goods.

All Good(s) are sold and delivered in good condition and are covered with a minimal of 1-year warranty from the first date of delivery, against manufacturing defects. The Buyer shall bear all repair costs for defects which do not qualify under the scheme, or for those beyond the warranty period.

  1. a)  Claim Procedure

Email us at enquiry@sheldon.com.sg and provide a detailed description of fault attached with photos or video and order no.

  1. b)  Limitations and Exceptions: 
  • Damaged due to normal wear and tear.
  • Damaged due to pest infestations
  • Used inappropriately, abused, or misused
  • Altered without authorization
  • Any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance, cleaning or care, or commercial use.
  • Clearance and limited set only items are not entitled to any warranties.
  • The warranty does not apply if the product is used outdoors except for furniture designed specifically for outdoor usage.
  • Not backed by valid sales order
  • Exported out of Singapore

Sheldon’s decision on all issues relating to complaints regarding defects, either of workmanship or materials, shall be final and conclusive. Any decision to repair or have part(s) replaced shall be at Sheldon’s sole discretion.  Any item repaired or replaced under this limited Warranty will be covered by the limited Warranty for the remainder of the original warranty period only.

While Sheldon Systems tries to ensure that the information contained on and accessed through the website is correct and current at the time of publication, the website may contain incorrect information supplied by manufacturers or suppliers, technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sheldon Systems does not accept any responsibility for any error, omission or defect in the information provided on this website. No representation or warranty is made/given by Sheldon Systems as to the completeness, accuracy or reliability of the information the website contains.  Nonetheless, we shall be grateful if any errors can be brought to our attention and we apologise for any inconveniences caused.

Natural Timber Furniture 

Due to the nature of wood, our furniture may vary in grains, colours and texture, and may vary from showroom display pieces and product images on our website.  We believe that this is what makes solid wood furniture unique and do not consider such variations as defects and reason for replacement.

Returns and Cancellation 

Upon confirmation of the order for the Good(s), the Customer shall not make any changes to the order for the Good(s). Any change will incur an additional charge which shall be notified to the Customer by the Company prior to the change.

We have a 7-day return policy for only our standard ex-stock items, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

This return policy does not apply to all special-indent Good(s) and custom-made products. All special-indent Good(s) and custom-made items are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. 

The return, exchange and refund policy does not apply to the following purchases

  1. Clearance/ As-is Products/ Set offers
  2. Back order and Customized Products
  3. Products that require on-site assembly
  4. Bedroom Sets
  5. Products that are not in new and unopened condition
  6. Products that have been removed from their original packaging, stained, used, washed, torn, dented, discoloured, damaged and/or with traces of fragrance or odours.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

Sheldon Systems Pte Ltd. has full discretion to decide whether any item is in a condition suitable for return and reserves the right to reject any returns that we deem unfit for return.

To start a return, you can contact us at enquiry@sheldon.com.sg. If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues 

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. 

As shipping is a hard cost we incur from logistics, please note that all delivery costs including surcharge are non-refundable.

Cancellation (before delivery)

For any cancellations of orders for ex-stock items initiated by the customer at least 5 working days before the scheduled delivery date will not incur any cancellation fee, apart from the 3% credit card charges that is non-refundable. 

Refunds will be issued, in the form of a credit back to the original mode of payment. Sheldon Systems reserves the rights to change the refund payment mode.

Cancellation of order is not applicable to (Sheldon Systems reserves the rights to amend the list without formal notice):

  1. Customised items.
  2. Indent items.
  3. Display units
  4. Items marked as "Sale", "Promotion" or any form of Clearance Sale

Changes to Terms of Service

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
